Become a freelancer on Kits

Kits helps specialists find clients and build a freelance career. You decide what to offer, how much to charge and whom to work with, and clients contact you directly, without an agency in between. Here is how to get started.

Step 1. Create an account and a freelancer profile

Sign up with your email and activate your freelancer profile. Add a photo, a one-line specialisation (for example, "UI/UX designer" or "WordPress developer"), your skills, the languages you speak and links to your portfolio or social networks. A complete profile inspires more trust.

Step 2. Publish your first service

Choose a category and subcategory, write a clear title and description, list what is included and what you need from the client, add gallery images and set a starting price or mark the price as negotiable. Specify the delivery time. You can also add paid extras, such as express delivery. Your first listing is free.

Step 3. Respond to jobs

Besides waiting for clients, you can look for work actively: in the Jobs section clients post tasks with a budget and a deadline. Send an application with a short cover letter and your price; once the client accepts it, you can discuss the details in chat.

Step 4. Collect reviews

When the work is done, ask the client to rate your service and leave a review. Ratings and reviews are visible to everyone and help new clients choose you.

Tips for beginners

• Start with one or two services that you do best.
• Use real examples of your work rather than stock images.
• Reply to messages quickly: clients often write to several freelancers at once.
• If you want your listing to appear higher in the results, you can use a paid boost.
